U-Drive Off road thrillers. Franz Josef Off Roaders gives you a fun opportunity to drive your way around the amazing Alpine & rainforest landscape instead of walking. Choose the type of ride you want, a full-on eye bulger or a relaxing nature tour. Children under 12 can ride with an adult driver in the same Buggy.

• Off-roaders are automatic and easy to drive. They have safety roll frames and full body harness seat belts.

• No experience is required. Trails are designed for maximum fun and ultimate safety.

• Wet weather, protective clothing, helmets and boots are supplied and must be worn.

• All trips are guided and begin with a training session to make sure you can safely drive your buggy and then you're off!!

• Choose a trip that suits the amount of action you want, either you drive or we drive.

Trailblazer Riverbed Run. 12 circuits of eye bulging, whiteknuckle adrenaline. You'll get the most exhilarating drive you've ever had. This is a great activity when you are waiting for the weather to clear on the glacier. You can make it a gentle ride or go full-out if you're an adrenaline junkie. The river bed circuit track will make a racing driver out of you! $45pp. Passenger in same kart add $25pp

Rainforest & Farm Trails. Guided driving adventure through beautiful forests and farmlands. Fun water hazards, get grabbed by the Mudplug, and scream down the Heartstopper. hold your breath through the Submarine and take up the challenge of negotiating the Pole Bridge All hazards guided and optional. There are many options on this tour depending on your interests. Spend time driving through the farm and visit the animals or for speed freaks take an exhilarating run out to the forest and try your skill through the hazards, or a bit of both.
