Training opportunities in New Zealand with Wild West Adventures

For most training it is best to do it with a workplace which is registered by the government to train & assess students/trainees. They can register the unit standard for you on the national qualification framework.
A detailed quote can be organised for each individual person depending on your prior experience and skills you wish to achieve throughout your training.

Achieving these skills will help you getting work in New Zealand. Parts of your training is to work along side one of our senior guides who will act as a mentor and will help you to achieve the skills you have chosen and he/she will take you on many adventures that the company provides to our clients.

The amount of time required can be suggested but often depends on your commitment and skill level.
You should make up a log book which details your outdoor experience, mainly trips where you have had to be self sufficient for at least a full day – what your role was on the trip, weather conditions and any problems you had to deal with.

Here are a few examples of unit standards that you can achieve with us.
