Should I still come on Holiday to NZ
New Zealand is open everywhere and welcoming guests.
You may have heard that there was an earthquake in Christchurch City on Feb 22nd. This has caused some damage to a small area in the central business area of the city. Everywhere else in the country has not been affected.
All airports (including Christchurch) and roads are open everywhere and all tourism businesses are open to welcome there guests for a great vacation as usual.
Some hotels that are in the central business area in Christchurch may not be open yet so if you want some free help to organise your holiday in New Zealand or find other accommodation click here.
If you are organizing your own holiday it would be best to plan it so that you don’t have to go into Christchurch central city area at this time but the airports and all other services are operating as normal.
