Training Opportunities

At Adventure New Zealand - Southern Discovery Holidays we have a team of experienced professional guides who all work together as a family giving visitors a 'guaranteed best tour ever... or you get your money back' experience. Some of our guides are certified teachers and all have instructing experience.

You might just be the person with the right type of personality to give this level of high quality experience to our clients but you may need some technical skills or experience. You might just want to work under the wing of an experienced person to gain "polish"

We offer training from time to time to these types of people. This can take the form of government sponsered apprenticeships, tourism industry training courses or for specific guiding skills from a wide range of outdoor codes. We also run a guides training school during the winter months low season.
