Taste of NZ Food Lover ToursWe all know when you travel to Asia or India you will want to sample the local cuisine. Why should NZ be any different? You see it, you can smell it (ever been to Rotorua!), you can touch it …and now you should really taste it. You want to come all this way for a New Zealand experience, so let us help you with that. New Zealand cuisine is a melting pot of cultures, combining to deliver a rustic charm of unique flavours & somewhat unique ingredients.Firstly let's start with the Maori word for food: Kai (pronounced like: high but with a K). Secondly, regardless of what you have been told the Pavlova dessert is a Kiwi dish, and should be ordered in as many different locations as possible, and ALWAYS ask for a Kiwi sized portion (a thick slice with all the extras)
Thirdly, you’re coming all this way, be bold & don’t just limit it to food…. Sample different beverages….activities….. & even try saying hello (or Kia ora) to people you wouldn’t normally…... you may be pleasantly surprised. ![]()
