Try their all day Coal Miners Breakfast, the meats are grown and processed in the hills near town, you'll be eating exactly what the local coalminers do to get them through a day underground. Feeling adventurous, ask for a side of Mountain Oysters. (since it is lunch time… why not also have a beer with your breakfast… try a Monteith's Celtic)
Dinner: Fish from Talley's Shop at the wharf, fresh off the boat.

Ten minutes after you leave Greymouth there is a great goat Cheesery. Beautiful full flavoured cheeses reasonably priced that you can buy by the slice. And just up the road is Honey café with a selection of NZ Honeys. The local area is known for its Rata Rainforest Honey.
Late Lunch at the Bushman's Centre: Venison or Possum Pies or whatever fresh wildfoods they have in on the day of your visit. Ask for Pete, he is the town's Mayor and will advise you on the freshest of the day. And see if you can get the recipe off his wife, I've been trying for years...
Dinner: Grilled West Coast farmed salmon seasoned with NZ Kelp pepper, served with horopito risotto, local green salad & goat cheese side. Need to find restaurant to do this

Day 4Drive to Queenstown (ZQN)
Accommodation in Queenstown (for next 2 nights).
Sleep in & today is an, at your own pace drive to Queenstown. If you’re a bit of an adventurous driver and want to try something special then drive the Crown Range Road to the Cardrona Hotel. But take the longer Kawarau route in winter as this road can be icy or even closed
Morning Tea: Tea & Scones @ Cardrona Hotel
Lunch: Arguably the best pies in the Country: Butter Chicken Pie at Arrowtown
Dinner: Maori Hangi Dinner & Cultural show
Day 5You have done enough driving, (trust us when we say you will love not concentrating on the road for today’s activities)
Today is a magical drive into the famous Milford Sound & Scenic Cruise with Real Journeys (packed lunch included).
Dinner: New Zealand Rainbow & Brown Trout. You are not allowed to buy trout in NZ but we have a mate in Queenstown who will give you one. We will arrange it for you, take it to the chef at your hotel to have it lightly braised in New Zealand Meadowfresh butter, delicious.
Day 6Drive to Christchurch. A touring day through an amazing range of beautiful landscapes. Alpine deserts with their tussock plains, wind sculptured rocks, mirror lakes, mountains and the Canterbury plains.
Accommodation for this day isn’t included as some people fly out in the evening, however we can organise this for you on request.
Dinner: Johnny Jones Canterbury Lamb Rack @ Bealey’s Speights Alehouse. Try with a Canterbury Pinot Noir (either Sandihurst 2007 or other Akaroa Boutique wineries such as Gecko)
Cancellations: Tours paid for and cancelled within 30 days of or during travel will not be refunded under any circumstances. We recommend you have travel insurance which we can also arrange for you.
